Psychology of Eating

The Psychology of Eating is an innovative and empowering approach that challenges much of what we until recently believed in regarding nutrition. Concerning anyone who eats, regardless of their current relationship with food and body. It aims to support us in transforming our relationship with food and body. It emphasizes pleasure and joy instead of deprivation and punishment.

It recognizes that our challenges with food, weight and health are closely connected to other primary dimensions of life – relationship, family, work, sexuality, our search for meaning and fulfillment, and so much more. And it welcomes them in not as signs of weakness, but as beautiful opportunities to grow and evolve.

Mind Body Nutrition

The Mind Body Nutrition approach explores the psychophysiology of how thoughts, feelings and beliefs affect nutritional metabolism and health. It goes far beyond classical nutrition, focusing on the fascinating connections between the brain, body and behavior and reveals how stress, physiology, relaxation response, breathing, awareness, pleasure, meal timing and much more profoundly influence digestion and calorie burning.

It offers practical and result-oriented strategies for the most commonly seen eating challenges and health issues of our times. Simply put, what we eat is only half of the story of good nutrition. The other half is who we are as eaters.
